We had a GREAT Halloween! And the day after, Sam is still wearing part of his pirate costume.
Look at my cute pirate. All day Sam was saying he was Jack Sparrow. I even asked him his name a few times and usually he's so proud to say "I'm Samuel." But Halloween, he was Jack Sparrow!
My little superman even has his own kryptonite...
his binky.
Phew! He got it back.
And we even got a picture without it!
They had a great time trick-or-treating! They got a ton of candy too.
We had a great night! I LOVE these boys!!!

New hair cuts
Before
After
(Sam has really become quite the poser lately. He used to run away when he would see me get out the camera. Now I say "Smile," and he does this face. What a cute face it is--I'm not complaining.)

The first snow fall of the year
It snowed for the first time this season, yesterday--October 24th. That seems really early to me!
And it hasn't stopped snowing since! I think we're in for a cold, snowy winter in Vernal! I hope my California boy survives.

Sammy's first bus ride to school
Sammy started a new pre-school and he gets to ride a bus there. It is sooo nice--he loves it and it is so convenient for me!
He wears this little harness so he can be belted into the seat.
Here we are waiting for the bus to come...
Look really close in that first window. I will never forget that look on his face. He was so confused and a little scared at seeing me stay behind while he drove away. I was a tiny bit scared too.
Quinn was so sad after Sam left. Not even the big boy bike would cheer him up.
I got to snap a quick picture when I picked him up. I think he had a great time. YEAH!

Bluebell corn maze
There is this really cute place, just on the other side of Roosevelt, in Bluebell. There is a corn maze and a pumpkin patch that you take a hayride to get to. We went there for the first time last year and LOVED it. This year, it was just the same--except for slightly higher prices. The boys had such a fun time. I think Quinn really liked walking through the corn maze. There is another maze for the kids made out of hay bails too and a big slide to get out of it. We had such a fun time. Plus it was a beautiful day! We'll probably make it an October tradition as long as we live here!
Halloween party w/ the McKee's
We had our friends, the McKee's, over to carve pumpkins and make caramel apples last week. We thought the kids might want to be more involved...
but, as you can see, the adults did...everything. We had a great time though.
Jared likes to design his own--he was going for a zombie look.
I carved a cute little jack-o-lantern from the pumpkin Sam got at school.
Casey's ended up looking the coolest because of the green face. Plus his was the biggest.
The first two are the McKee's that they brought from their own garden. The last three are the Bigler's.
I didn't take any pictures of the caramel apples, but they were delicious! I even made my own caramel. I also baked the pumpkin seed and they tasted yummy too.

I tried those nail stickers
I'm only on day two, but they're still holding strong. The package says they should last 10 days. We'll see. I really love how they turned out!
The Hites + Grandma came to town!!
We LOVE it when family comes to visit! We had such a great time! The Hite kids were on their fall break, but Vernal wasn't so we had all the places to ourselves! I don't have any pictures of the rec center pool, but we had so much fun there too. The last picture here is of a teas party that Baylee set up with all of Sam and Quinn's stuffed animals. SO CUTE! Thank you so much for visiting!!! When will you be back?!?
Sammy's birthday month
On Sammy's birthday we went over to our friend's house and had a birthday dinner and ice cream pie. We love our friends, The McKee's, and it was nice of them to open their home for us to party at.
On Monday Sam got to share some birthday treats with his pre-school class.
