It is amazing how much he has changed in two weeks. And he just gets more and more handsome each day. What a blessing he has been

Me and the Baby at 39 weeks

Here he is--in all his glory. I think he wants out because even though it's gotten pretty tight in there he still manages to kick and stretch. This little boy is all Jared and I have been able to think about for the last 3 months because we've been trying to get everything ready. At the beginning of the pregnancy we though "nine months is a long time--we have plenty of time." So then nothing was done, of course until right here at the end. BUT since we've got the bassinet set up and the car seat installed and my hospital bag packed I feel much better AND my blood pressure has even gone down.

I can't believe this used to be me! I remember how excited I was to be showing and now I can't escape the stares and comments from my friends and even perfect strangers.
I HAVE enjoyed the experience of being pregnant--I always knew I wanted to feel this. To feel the baby inside me and to feel a bond with someone I've never seen and to experience this miracle. But I am just so ready to be done with the pregnant stage and get to the birth stage and then the parenting stage!
