Florida/Grand Bahama

We took an airboat ride around this safari park in the everglades, just outside of Fort Lauderdale.  The ride was a lot of fun and it was a beautiful place!!

We did a two day cruise to the Bahamas too.  We went on one excursion--a jeep tour.  It was a fun way to see a lot of the island during the short time we were there.
I liked driving.  They drive on the left side of the road in the Bahamas, but there were 6 other Jeeps in front of me so it wasn't too scary!
This was such a beautiful beach, and the water was so warm!!!  We learned a lot about the Bahamas on our tour too, we had an excellent guide!

We visited the Orlando Temple while we were there.  It was a beautiful place!
The Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum in Orlando.
I had to give this lady the password so I could get into Capone's, a dinner theater we went to in Orlando.
Me and Jared took a trip to Florida and the Bahamas at the beginning of February.  We left our kids with my family and went away for a week.  We had such a great time!!  I've been to Florida before but I had forgotten how beautiful it was, and Jared had never been.  He LOVED the wildlife--he got 10 new life birds just in the first day we were there.  It was great to go and spend some time together, just us, but we missed our boys so much by the end of the week.  We had a great time, but it was good to be back too!

the ocean

This shot was as good as it was gonna get.

We spent some time at the beach while we were in California.  It was sooooo nice since we were hearing from my family that it stayed in the single digits the whole time we were gone.  Jared is from such a beautiful part of the state!!!

Knott's Berry Farm

Livey and Maya together behind Sam and Quinn, and I think that's Jace in the background, all by himself.

Quinny chose the bear...and Sammy chose the camel.
These pictures are from our trip to California for Christmas--I know, I have a lot of catching up to do!  One of our days there we spent at Knott's Berry Farm.  We had such a great time--as you can tell from the pictures!!  And it was hard getting Quinn off every single ride!  Sammy went on his first roller coaster ride too.  There aren't any pictures of that because I went on the ride with him and I couldn't look away from his face long enough to get the camera out.  He had a huge smile on the whole time.  To see Sammy so happy almost made me start to cry, right there on the roller coaster.

my recent sewing projects

I made this quilt for my friend's son's bed.  I LOVED this pattern.  It was so easy and it could look so different just but using another color scheme.
And I made this bag for my sister-in-law for her birthday.  It was easy too, so I'm gonna make me one to use for my church bag since my current one is so boring.
